The Trolling Motor (?TM?) series of batteries is made for trolling motor and other deep cycle marine applications that can benefit from fast recharge, superior charge efficiency, weight reduction, and cycle lives beyond 2,000 cycles. Built with Lithium Iron Phosphate cells that are tested to the UL-1642 standard, the TM series of batteries is recommended for inductive motor loads such as trolling motors, electric motors, motive power, and other forms of energy storage. The TM series of 12.8V lithium ion batteries feature an internal battery management system designed to auto balance the cells and protect for over temperature, over voltage, under voltage, over current and short circuit conditions. They can be charged with typical AGM battery chargers (see restrictions and notes) and are IP65 water resistant.
TM133 12.8V 33Ah Lithium Ion Battery is a drop in replacement for BCI ?U1? lead acid batteries for trolling motors.? Featuring 65 reserve minutes of energy, it is 30% more runtime than a typical U1 marine lead acid battery. At only 10 lbs and (7.75? L x 5.12? W x 6.37? T), its the perfect size for kayaks!
It features an internal battery management system that insures long life and trouble free service, all safely sealed inside a lightweight box.? This BMS system monitors for over voltage, over temperature, over current, under voltage, and short circuits.? In addition robust cell balancing keeps the pack at its peak capacity.
Charging is simple because your existing 12V AGM battery compatible charger will work fine.*
*Insure the charger?s float voltage is 13.5V or less. ?Do not ?de-sulfate? any lithium ion battery.
