Description

The N3150-36 combines all the features of the M3150-36 with the embedded BM-21 battery monitor.? The result is a 32 lb Lithium Pros 36V 50Ah Trolling Battery?that can replace THREE ?Group 29 marine batteries.? It is also the world?s first lithium ion battery to report its data directly to the NMEA 2000 network.*
The BM-21 Embedded battery monitor is NMEA 2000 certified and features a micro port on the battery.? It is directly addressable on the NMEA 2000 network and it is ?plug and play? with all NMEA 2000 multi-function displays.? Simply select the individual battery from the NMEA 2000 device list and configure it.
The BM-21 reports all required PGNs as well as the three standard battery related PGNs:? 127506, 127508, 127513, as well as alert PGN 126983.? This put the individual battery voltage, current, time remaining, state of charge, and temperature all on the network. In addition, the BM-21 also records warnings and alerts events with a real time/date stamp.? Also, cumulative lifetime amp-hours are recorded.? This information is available on the optional OLED display.? (N series batteries with a ?D? part number suffix include this display. The N3150-36 does not include the OLED display.)
The BM-21 is powered from the NMEA 2000 bus, not the battery.? Therefore, it reports battery status even if the battery itself is in protection mode.
In a flats boats and other shallow water fishing boats where weight is a premium, this is a fast and efficient way to take 148 lbs* out of the boat and have more storage space. ?A lighter boat is faster and more fuel efficient and can get into more places. ?Catch fish where your competitors can?t.
This?36V 50Ah Trolling Battery?features 118 reserve minutes, or enough power for extended trolling in one area for up to nine hours.** In addition to that capacity, a on-board DC charger (sold separately) can automatically recharges the trolling battery from the outboard engine?s charging system if your boat is so equipped.
Imagine being able to troll all day long with only one battery! ?This?36V 50Ah Trolling Battery?is the same?physical?size as a typical group 31 battery, so it fits in most marine battery trays. ?(13?L x 6.81? W x 8.43? T) ?Installation is a snap and you are ready to go with a Lithium Pros battery that is??strong all day long.?
*Group 29 marine battery assumed to be 210RC and 60 lbs.
**Assumes 50% setting on a Minn Kota motor and 50% duty cycle (usage) on the motor. Higher settings or a higher duty cycle (more usage, such as in wind or water current) will reduce this time.
